What’s InfiniteScroll UI?

InfiniteScroll UI is a script extension that enables you to use the new ScrollRect control as an infinite spinner. You can load a collection of objects to its datasource and it will automatically show the objects while scrolling. This is the basics. You can also use databinding, a la MVVM, and all the changes in your collection or objects will get immediately reflected in your screen without having to manipulate the UI.

SQLite4Unity3d: using sqlite-net library and Unity3d free editionMobile Development, Unity3D

I’m currently trying to port my Monk application to Unity3d in order to publish it to several stores using the same code.

My previous attempt was to use Xamarin and that’s why I started to use MvvmCross and getting it ready to start with Xamarin Android and iOS. I have to say that the app is already published in Windows Phone and Windows Stores using MvvmCross (which I highly recommend) but, just by chance, when I started facing other platforms development I stumbled uppon Unity3d and automatically fell in love with it.

Fast App Switching and MvvmCross. How to make it work.

Fast App Switching and MvvmCross. How to make it work.Mobile Development

Today I’ve found an issue with Fast App Switching in Windows Phone 8 while using MvvmCross.

The main problem is that MvvmCross navigation model will not be enough to make it work. When resuming the app, MvvmCross will correctly load the view and the viewmodel. However, the system will launch a navigating event that won’t be handled by MvvmCross and you will end up with a navigation error or a view loaded without datacontext, depending on your app’s configuration, as the navigation event that the system will launch will be directing your navigation to whatever page you have set in your project’s WMAppManifest.xml file.

Probably you have followed some instructions from several articles to activate IIS compression for binary messages and you’ve been totally unsuccessful. Maybe they told you to put some additional nodes into your web.config or go to C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\Config and edit applicationHost.config file adding some custom nodes under httpCompression node.

Well, if that’s your case, then you may try this:

1- Open your IIS

2- Select the Server on the left menu.
